Kristen Neiditch - Photo Editor + Educator

project:

Template by Megan Martin Creative

Former marketing director Kristen Neiditch had already built a highly successful business as a private photo editor. But even with extensive market research already in the works, she needed words that connected with her clients and allowed her to pivot into the online education space. With five core pages and 7 digital product sales pages, this site was an ambitious 2-month project. I read and watched all her products, created a brand voice guide, and mapped the customer journey before writing SEO-optimized website copy that powerfully connects with ideal clients.

Liz Courtney Photography

project:

In collaboration with Amanda Scott Creative

Wanting to shift her wedding photography business towards a high-end client who values a customized approach, Liz needed sophisticated and timeless yet quirky and personable website words to match her custom web design. We worked together to emphasize Liz's unique packages— one of which includes a wedding album. Now, Liz's words match her branding collateral and speak to her ideal client. Designer Amanda Scott crafted the website around the website copy.

Brittany McCloskey Photography

project:

In collaboration with Leesa Dykstra Designs

Kansas wedding photographer Brittany McCloskey was frustrated with her website template and copy. She needed a site with clear calls to action, SEO that targeted her area, and words that would convey her exuberant personality. I worked with Brittany to help her zero in on her ideal client before writing her website words. Designer Leesa Dyskstra designed the website around the words. The result is a custom, curated experience for Brittany's clients.

Stephanie Flores Photography

project:

Template by Davey + Krista

After purchasing a website template, Southern California wedding and portrait photographer Stephanie Flores needed a website that captured her fun spirit and caring approach to photography. But every time to she tried to DIY her website copy, her words fell short of the vision she had for her business. That's where I came in. The result? An SEO-optimized website with approachable, laid back writing that connects with her California brides.

Sparrow & Laine Photography

project:

In collaboration with Leesa Dykstra Designs

Family and wedding photographer Abby Amundson needed timeless, bold, and classic words to show her warm personality and client process. By conveying her mission and core values on the home page, I helped Abby attract her ideal client with words that match her lively photography style and client testimonials. With a website designed around her words, Sparrow & Laine also has a customized design formed around the content.

Lacework Films

project:

Template by Go Live HQ

Although wedding videographer Kelly LaFleur recently updated her website with a new design, she knew that the best way to reach her ideal client was through website copy that resonates. We identified area competitors so I could generate the best SEO keywords for Kelly's business. The result? A classic, friendly website that's not only relatable but also written to increase Kelly's leads from SEO alone.

SEE PROJECT

Osiris Photography

project:

Homepage blurb and About page

Illinois Photographer Osiris Coté wanted a warm About page that communicates her relatable style and info about her photography journey that connects with ideal clients. Through both a blurb on the homepage and the About page, I helped Osiris communicate her unique strengths and heartfelt love for helping her clients bring their moments to life.

SEE PROJECT

Melody Lane Academy

project:

In collaboration with Amanda Scott Creative

New studio owner Sarah Marquis not only acquired Melody Lane Academy from the previous owners-- she also inherited the studio's outdated website. In conjunction with her new branding and web design, I worked with Sarah to improve the user experience of the site by simplifying the menu, condensing and rewriting content, and adding all new sections so Melody Lane could share its heritage, sense of community, and family spirit with Yakima.

SEE PROJECT

McLelland Photography

project:

Home and About pages

Tricia of McLelland Photography came to me seeking a more personality-driven and descriptive bio to share with her prospective clients. I worked with Tricia to better communicate the heart of her business and share more about the newborn composite imagery that makes McLelland Photography a standout in Ontario, Canada.

Before I worked with Kayla, I had a hard time finding a copywriter I trusted to refer my clients to. But now I’m fully confident sending clients to Kayla whenever they need help with the all-important task of writing genuine copy that’s SEO-friendly, fun, and not salesy. She makes my job easier because me and my clients don’t have to struggle anymore to come up with the words that convert readers to clients. Before I worked with Kayla, I was overwhelmed with all the website copy I needed to update. I felt like I wasn’t going to have the right writing style to attract my ideal clients. The Reviews:

I felt like my brain was going to explode. I didn't know how to put everything I was thinking into one nicely written paragraph. I had never worked with a copywriter before, but Kayla understood my vision. I wanted people to read my about me page and actually get to know me. My about me page sounds like me, and not like a robot. Kayla was super nice and got my page to me in the time promised. People compliment me on my about me page all the time!
